5. Minimum Wage

Employees working for others, subject to the Labor Code regime, are guaranteed a minimum monthly wage of $13,000 (thirteen thousand escudos) – around 117.90 EUR, as long as they fulfill the normal working period, set by the employer. However, this amount is subject to a 20% reduction for apprentices and interns.
